All-Optical Three-Input “AND” Gate Dependent on a Differential Modulation Architecture

This gazette focuses on simulation and experimental studies for all-optical three-input “AND” gate schemes. The proposed exploits the semiconductor optical amplifier Mach-Zehnder Interferometer (SOA-MZI) nonlinearities, particularly cross-phase modulation (XPM) corollary in addition to cross-gain (XGM) corollary, which originates from a SOA-MZI differential concept. Further, system performance is analyzed examined through actual simulated results evaluate obtained signal. Dependent nonlinearity of SOAs, can operate with three signals driven by 2 picoseconds (ps) pulse source (OPS). We noticed that our are perfectly matched results. output signal acquired at higher common harmonics up 200 GHz study “AND”, vastly be used networking, evaluated many parameters, such as error vector magnitude (EVM), extinction ratio (ER), gain.
